News from the FUNCenter; 

   We have been having such amazing turn-outs for our activities! Loads of art projects [for all ages!], singing and dancing of course- we have even been doing a bit of Journey Dancing ourselves! The scarves have been twirling, the drums, guitars and ukuleles all making music. Our big kids are so involved in bringing the little ones up to speed on the pc and board games and what great fun for all of us to remember how much playing can add to our day, stop by and see how creatively the kids have decorated the playroom with their art. Of course with all this activity there is always a healthy, fun snack available for all to
enjoy. On June 27, we will be having a picnic in the park at a great local
playground, sounds like fun, doesn’t it? We’ll provide the picnic and the hula hoops, the families will provide the energy and friendship! It’s wonderful watching our community grow and change, friendships for all ages building. We have adults stopping by on family night because it’s such a FUN Center!

Family Center Activities

Hi All,

The move was a huge success due to hard work and a supportive team.  We have been up and running for 2 weeks.  We have open hours on Thursdays from 4-7pm.  We have planned activities each week.  If you are not interested in the activity, feel free to use other parts of the center. 

We are very excited about the new Salasin Center.  We invite you to come in and see what we are about.  We are now located at 474 Main Street, Greenfield MA, 0130. We will be posting new pictures on the website soon.  I look forward to seeing you very soon.

Good Morning!!!

Things are going well here at the center.  We have been super busy making music, hula hoops, arts and crafts.  Last week we made seedlings of basil and zinias.  The should be ready soon. 

In the next month, we will be undergoing exciting changes.  To begin we are changing our location in June.  In June, our new address will be 474 Main street, Greenfield MA 01301. 
Next, we are teaming up with the Greenfield Women's Resource Center.  Both Centers will reopen June 11th as The SALASIN Center.

These changes will allow us to better meet the needs of the community.  We will be able to offer childcare to some programs.  We will be able to offer more programming, reaching more folks in the community.   The new space presents us with new opportunities and endless possibilities!!

I will keep you posted on the changes as I know more.
